Subjects to our King.

By Serving God and Honoring Him, You are a member of the Kingdom of the One and only True and Ultimate God. Seriously, how AWESOME is that?! Matthew 6:31-33 So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ [32] For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. [33] But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 8:11 I say to you that many will come from the east and the west, and will take their places at the feast with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 11:11-12 I tell you the truth: Among those born of women there has not risen anyone greater than John the Baptist; yet he who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he. [12] From the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven has been forcefully advancing, and forceful men lay hold of it. STRIVE TO ENTER THIS KINGDOM BY SUBMITTING TO ITS KING!!!

Lions of God

Our lives can be ended so easily that its scary to think one minute you're here and the next you're before God's throne. That is why we have to make it count. Nothing we will ever do will make us better than anyone else. But that doesn’t mean we should conform to a fallen world. We have to stand up in it, be proud to be His sons and daughters, yet be humble enough to realize we are no better than those we witness to. We have to dance and sing when others are silent and act when others are afraid. We have to pray in Jesus Christ's name while others curse in it. We have to see the world through His eyes and act with His hands, listen through His ears, and speak in His words. That is our calling. To "Go into all the World and preach the good news to all creation." In His name we will "drive out demons, speak in new tongues, place our hands on snakes and not be poisoned, lay hands on the sick and they will get well." (Mark 16:15-18) We have the power. We have the opportunities. All we lack is the courage to be the Lions we are called to be. We have Christ inside of us. Your friends, your teachers, your enemies will see Him in you and ask themselves 'what makes him/her different?', and in that little thought the gates of their mind and heart will be opened enough to let God in.

Joy in Trials

Hold onto Jesus, And don’t let go. For there will be trials, The Bible says so. They’re given for a purpose. It’s part of His plan. You're to count them all joy, And rejoice if you can. Knowing that going through them Your faith’s in a test, And patience is the reward, With which God wants to bless. YOU for persevering and not giving in, To the temptations that surround you, The subtle call of sin. So stand fast my brethren And resist the evil one... Looking unto Jesus, And all that He has done. See, He was all God, But he was also all Man, He’s already won the victory So that you can GLORIFY HIM While you simply sail through, All of life’s storms, When they seem to engulf you. Knowing the testing of your faith Is making you stronger, And that patience is making you perfect, In case He tarries longer. -By Diana M.
