Jesus, by giving His perfect life as a payment for ours, so we may live eternally with Him in heaven, showed the true meaning of sacrifice and love. Now we as Christians must show the world the love we have been given, no matter the opposition we face. We must all be Lions of God. Jesus said, "I am the Way, and the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to Father except through Me." We can be the first glimpse of light, leading our peers, our family members, our enemies towards the true Light.

Even Jesus Bears Scars

When I attended a youth camp earlier this year, I saw the man standing next to me in worship had no fingers. As the lights flashed to the praise music, I saw he had no ears, nose, or lips. I am an army child - I know the face of combat. I knew not if that was the case, but regardless, I was familiar with the demons he had battled in the fire and every day since. As worship went on, I knew what God was telling me to do. Yet i battled until the very last song. As he turned to leave, I tapped his shoulder. And spoke as loud as i dared over the fading music to not attract others attention. "I don't know all the sacrifices you've made, or who you made them for, but thank you." With tears in his eyes, he explained he had been a fireman, that he had gotten trapped in a building, and that he was beyond grateful for my thanks. He said that I had a beautiful perspective of the world. I told him it was God's eyes. Last night I went to Chuck E Cheese for the first time in probably 8 years. We were attending one of my dad's Army buddy's daughter's 5th birthday. As my 7 year old brother and I went up to the counter to turn in his tickets, I noticed the woman to our right, surrounded by her husband and three young children, had a scar across her face. It was an attack wound, of that I have no doubt. It slashed from her forehead, across her eye, and down her right cheek. I could feel her insecurity - see it in what she wore and how she never met many eyes - even as she patiently urged her children to find the best toy. Again, I knew what I had to say, again I battled for the 3 minutes it took her children to pick out their prizes. When she turned, I tapped her shoulder. Her surprised eyes met mine. I leaned into her shoulder, whispering "Even Jesus bears His Scars."
Stepping back, my eyes still holding her glossy ones, she whispered "Thank you." With my Love and His~ Arial Alexis LionessofGod.

Subjects to our King.

By Serving God and Honoring Him, You are a member of the Kingdom of the One and only True and Ultimate God. Seriously, how AWESOME is that?! Matthew 6:31-33 So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ [32] For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. [33] But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 8:11 I say to you that many will come from the east and the west, and will take their places at the feast with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 11:11-12 I tell you the truth: Among those born of women there has not risen anyone greater than John the Baptist; yet he who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he. [12] From the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven has been forcefully advancing, and forceful men lay hold of it. STRIVE TO ENTER THIS KINGDOM BY SUBMITTING TO ITS KING!!!

Throne

Gold - it lines the walls, is inlaid on the floor, covers the ceiling. Jewels and precious stones are imbedded into everything. Lace and satins rest over the elaborately carved, solid red wood chair. Solid platinum bars make up the arm rests. Rubies line the edges, an emerald at the chair's back's crest. This gleaming, magnificent throne could belong to kings of old, Saul, David, Solomon, Cleopatra, Elizabeth, George. How amazing must it have been to rest among such splendor, can you even imagine the feel of the satin between your fingers, the smooth, cool gold, the smells of amber and incense wafting from silver bowls resting on top of alabaster pillars. Such greatness, such power...

And to think, this is only of this world... God rests upon a throne, countless times more majestic, powerful, and amazing than the one I just described to you. His throne is waited on by Angels, His Power is in more than gold, more than lands and fields, herds, and wars. And then, there is the throne of your heart...The one He desires MOST. Nothing compares to Him being on this Throne, there is no peace or power than compares to what having HIM as your Lord and the Source of all of your needs. He wants nothing more than for you to submit to His Rule, rebuke your flesh and the temptations and pollutants of the world, and all Him to be your Ruler, Him your King, and put Him and Him alone on the throne of your heart. You are to serve Him - Worship, Adore, and Follow - your KING.

God reigns over the nations, God sits on His holy throne. Psalms 47:8
Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever; a scepter of justice will be the scepter of your kingdom. Psalm 45:6
Your throne was established long ago; you are from all eternity.  Psalm 93:2
You, O LORD, reign forever; your throne endures from generation to generation. Lamentations 5:19
